1) DEFENSIVE MINDSET 2) USAV AND HIGH SCHOOL RULE DIFFERENCES
1) DEFENSIVE MINDSET Often the one thing that keeps a player from being a great player is the lack of the ability to anticipate the opponent. A volleyball defensive player that has poor anticipation will often be forced to make a successful dig by having to make a good decision in a split second. Being able to anticipate your opponents play and get in position ahead of time can make a big difference in playing great defense. Follow the link for more on anticipating your opponent and training to improve your passing and defense. -------------------------------------------------- 2) USAV AND HIGH SCHOOL RULE DIFFERENCES With the new club volleyball season beginning, it may be a good time to look at the differences between high school and USA Volleyball rules.
